Battery Managment System (BMS)
STARCORP has been developing BMS for its solar equipment for several years. The evolution of uses such as BMS for vehicle batteries or more particularly those of ESS have led STARCORP to develop a new generation of intelligent BMS. Indeed, this intelligent BMS is able to:
- check the charge and temperature of each cell or each pack depending on the battery configuration,
- activate a fire protection system developed and patented by STARCORP,
the BMS are interconnected according to a device again developed and patented by STARCORP
This new generation of intelligent BMS responds perfectly to the security constraints imposed on high-capacity equipment such as vehicle batteries, batteries for vehicle charging stations, batteries for the home, ESS.
IoT Solutions
The IoT solution offered by STARCORP is based on a set of hardware components or finished equipment and a modular software architecture. The technological step to move from the electronic shelf label to IoT equipment was a logical next step.
This is how STARCORP, through one of its co-founders, participated in the genesis of SIGFOX by providing the first antennas and a first generation of modems. Today, all the equipment developed by STARCORP integrate native or optional means of communication such as SIGFOX, LORA, NbIOT.
Other means of communication are available such as BLUETOOTH or WIFI. The software architecture is based on a docker/container solution in order to offer great flexibility, easy and fast implementation and totally proprietary.
DC/DC and AC/DC Power Supply
We develop power supplies for many of our equipment. For AC/DC type power supplies, we mainly use flyback technology associated with a power factor corrector (PFC).
For direct current and/or direct voltage (DC/DC) energy converters, we use the most common technologies such as BUCK, BOOST and SEPIC type converters. Our expertise is based on the use of a large number of components from the main manufacturers in the field (ST, LINEAR, TORX, XLSEMI, TI, ANALOG DEVICES, INFINEON, MAXIM, ONSEMI, etc. Our products integrate all the protection mechanisms against overvoltage, short circuits, etc.
Our power supplies meet the IEC60601, IEC 62368 standard with very high MTBF (> 1Million hours) We specialize in the following power supplies:
- Power supply for LED lighting equipment (indoor/outdoor => IP65 power supply),
- Power supply for 19" racks with UPS function (Uninterruptible Power Supply) in 1U, 2U, 3U and 4U format).
- Power supply for autonomous on-board equipment (device running on solar panel),
- Power supplies to be integrated directly on a PCBA,
- Open frame power supply.
We produce power supplies according to the technical requirements of customers.

Automation - Smart Home Security Devices & Systems
The home automation solution offered by STARCORP is totally innovative. It consists of a radio frequency module which can be integrated into several home automation devices (presence sensors, door or window opening detector with shock detection, pressure detector, temperature detector for freezer, light sensor, power meter, control box for light with dimmer, control box for electric gate, control box for motorized garage door, presence detector, etc.
In order not to be dependent on a single electronic component supplier, the RF modules offered are available in SEMTECH LORA, ST, TI, ESP32. It supports standard protocols (ZIGBEE, BLUETOUTH, WIFI, LORAWAN, SIGFOX, Z-WAVE, THREAD, MATTER, etc.). The modules can be customized with features specific to each client.
We offer a
prefabricated software structure. It is architectured on a database and MQTT encapsulated
in a docker/container supporting load balancing mode. We then customize the
application according to the requirements of our customers or we develop the
API necessary to connect. Devices can also be controlled directly by the client
application if the latter already has a home automation solution and wishes to
add new products.

Display & Outdoor Advertising
Our expertise in display systems is based on solid references. In 1995, one of the co-founders of STARCORP patented and developed the first generations of electronic gondola tags from Sitour Electronic Systems (now known as SES IMAGOTAG), a world leader in its field. Subsequently, developments focused on the first multimedia players capable of controlling one or more screens via the Internet. Specific solutions have been developed for on-board digital communication in coaches, or in environments such as hotels (ACCOR group) or shopping malls.
Thanks to its know-how, the following developments have made it possible to create and deploy an IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) system in collaboration with TF1.
Today STARCORP offers display equipment for communities. They are based on very strong expertise in the field which gives all the equipment high performance and very high reliability.
